The Saanich Express would like to announce that recent graduate Jorden Tytgat will now be the Assistant General Manager. Jorden has had a wonderful minor lacrosse career and has enjoyed the game tremendously. He was happy to have played Intermediate “A” in Nanaimo before finishing his Junior career with the Saanich Express.

The future is bright for this young man now on the Administrative side of the game. His familiarity of the game from all facets as well as his current role with Saanich Minor Lacrosse as Director at Large, will assist him in his new role as Assistant G.M. His role is not specifically defined; but rather a shared responsibility of what happens day to day with the team. He will join Andrea Churchill (Governor) and Tyson Leies (G.M. & Head Coach) with the every day operations of the Saanich Express Lacrosse Club.

Jordan has currently been working with team management on recruitment and player development for the past few weeks, which includes liaising with minor lacrosse associations such as but not limited to Saanich Minor Lacrosse and assisting them with their “free” sessions that will take place at the Pearkes Field House.

As 2020 spreads across the world; players, parents, sponsors, spectators, friends, families and teams all take to
social media to say good-bye to 2019 and welcome in the New Year.

This changing season also provides the opportunity for our players; especially our graduates, to thank their previous
teammates, sponsors and families on this last day of their Junior careers. The Saanich Express take the opportunity
to welcome new players aboard this season and look toward new goals in the year ahead. We’ve compiled a glimpse
